Mais bon, ça reste excellent quand même, hein ;)

Your girls are fine as always...
But there is one visual gluk...
The bubble on her lips looks as last not beaten out tooth...

DanmaxX, I don't see a tooth because I know it's a bubble... But I understand it can be disturbing at first sight.

I'm a huge fan of your stuff, Mathieu. It's your recent Ipad sketches and illo's tho that have sold me on getting one myself. Just wondering tho if you could answer a few questions?

What were you using for a stylus before you got your Dagi stylus? What program do you find best for strictly sketching and what program mimics a pencil/pen with pressure, best? How easy is it say, to start an sketch or illo on the Ipad and then take it onto my desktop mac and finish it up in Photoshop?

Thanks for your time, Mathieu.

One last thing, heh. Do you use a screen protector on your ipad? if so what kind and does it prohibit the abitity to sketch at all?

Merci, Gunt.

Gracias, Eduardo.

Thank you, Crylic. About your questions : before using a Dagi stylus I used my fingers. Yesterday I made my own stylus using a sponge ! (there some tutorials on the net) and it works quite well :)
Sketchbook Pro and Brushes are both great app for sketching for various reasons, I can't tell you which one I prefer. Sketchbook is more complete (a kind of photoshop) but Brushes is more easy and intuitive IMO.
You can easily start an illo and send it by email or share it through iTunes to finish it in photoshop. With Sketchbook you can even export a psd file to preserve layers and blend modes. With Brushes you can export high resolution images. Each app has its advantage.
I had a cheap screen protector but my Dagi caused scratches on it... Now I have no protection and I have no problem anymore. The ipad screen is very hard and scratch resistant . I would have saved some money if I had known it before !
Well, I hope it helps you..

Thanks for answering all my questions, Matheiu. I take you heard about the potential of getting pressure sensitivity on the ipad soon! With that news, I'll be getting my ipad this weekend :)

Mathieu Reynès a dit…

Merci - Thanks :)

Crylic, indeed Ten One is working on a presure sensibility system
